The Welsh Lib Dems think that Wales needs to be fully prepared for bad weather

Following reports from the Welsh Local Government Association that salt and grit levels are critical throughout Wales, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Transport Minister, Jenny Randerson AM said:

"Wales needs to build massive salt and grit reserves to stop this ridiculous situation that we seem to be facing more and more every year.

"The effects of running out of grit and salt are huge: economically and socially as well as providing major health and safety issues. We need to be prepared and stop our country grinding to a halt several times each winter."
