Andrew Adonis has not come to Wales on his "rail trip"

Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Transport Minister, Jenny Randerson AM has accused the Transport Minister, Lord Adonis of a tacit admission of the state of Wales' 'atrocious' rail infrastructure after completely missing the country off of his planned rail tour of Britain.
Lord Adonis set off yesterday on a six day rail trip, the length, but not the breadth of Britain, visiting all parts of England as well as Scotland, but not Wales.
Jenny Randerson said: "Sadly, I am not surprised that Lord Adonis is snubbing Wales. Our rail infrastructure is so poor that it would probably add days to his journey.
"This snub is in fact a tacit admission of the atrocious state that successive Labour and Tory governments have allowed our railways to get in to.
"I am writing to Lord Adonis to invite him to come to Wales and try to travel across our nation by rail. Maybe then he will consider investing in our network and allowing Welsh people to travel by train in their day to day lives."
