House of Lords Barnett review - Jenny Randerson comment

Commenting on the House of Lords decision to hold an enquiry into the Barnett Formula, Welsh Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Finance, Jenny Randerson AM said:

"WAG was mandated by the Assembly a year ago to review the Barnett Formula. How has it taken the governing parties, who are supposed to act in the interests of Wales a year to set up their review? They have now been overtaken by both the IPPR and the House of Lords. Our review will now be running to catch up. Both Labour and Plaid now have questions to answer as to why they can not be relied on to stand up for Wales and the House of Lords are doing their job for them."
