Jenny Randerson will fight to secure jobs in Cardiff

Commenting on the news that 600 jobs are to be lost at the Ventura call-centre just outside of her constituency and the potential threat to 550 jobs in the Zurich Offices in the City Centre, Cardiff Central AM Jenny Randerson said:

"Together with the potential 300 job losses at the International Baccalaureate and the threats to jobs in Further Education, this means we are facing the loss of well over 1000 jobs in the capital. This is a worrying sign of deepening difficulties with the wider economy. Cardiff has enjoyed prosperity in recent years but I am increasingly concerned that the economy is rapidly sliding."

"I will be pressing Minister's in the Assembly to take all steps they can to prevent these job losses and save the jobs of hundreds of my constituents."
