Jenny Randerson - Standing up for Cardiff Central

THE JENNIES ON TOUR

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Thu 28th Sep 2006

Jenny Randerson, Welsh Liberal Democrat Assembly Member for Cardiff Central, and Jenny Willott, Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament, are launching a full surgery tour of Cardiff Central, giving residents a chance to raise problems and get advice in a range of unusual venues.

Jenny Randerson and Jenny Willott will be holding surgeries in pubs, supermarkets, shopping centres, cafes and going from door to door with the aim to meet as many people in as many different areas as possible.

Jenny Randerson AM commented, "The Lib Dems in Cardiff have a good reputation for holding regular surgeries across Cardiff, but this tour is designed to meet people who wouldn't normally consider visiting their local AM, MP or councillor."

Jenny Willott MP added, "We want to meet a large variety of different people so we're visiting St David's arcade in the city centre, pubs, cafes and supermarkets across the city and doing a door to door surgery in Cyncoed. We hope to make it easier for lots of people to have a chance to talk to their MP, AM and a local councillor."
